There is no other way to get there.
Do you have something you want to do?
Go for it.
You have to go for it.
Seriously. Action is the only prerequisite to accomplishment.
No one hands things to you while you are sitting on your butt. You have to ask for it, work for it, or take it.
It takes a long time for some people to realize this.
What’s the difference between the guy who doing awesome stuff vs the guy living the normal life.
One guy is doing awesome stuff. That’s it.
You don’t have to know everything because you possess the ability to learn.
You don’t have to have a great network because you possess the ability to meet people.
You don’t have to have enough money because there are enough people in the world who are willing to put money behind awesome people who are taking action towards awesome things.
Here is where people get stuck. Someone didn’t get the average job or promotion, so they believe they are incapable of achieving awesome.
The truth is there is more competition in the average pool. Its crowded.
Going after awesome brings less competition because most are afraid to try.
There is more room when you are going after awesome. More spots to pick from. More room to try and try again.
Here is the best part. The only barrier of entry to accomplishing awesome things is taking action.
This is the hardest part to accept. It is much easier to tell yourself you can’t do something because you don’t have everything you need to do it.
It is much harder to try.
Action separates average from awesome. Action takes guts and thick skin. It takes the fortitude to handle risk, ridicule, and criticism.
Then one day after all the failures, tests, and compound small achievements, the rest of the world is jealous of what you accomplished. They assume you had the most money or brains or connections or luck or whatever.
You will smile inside because you know the truth. All you did was make the decision to do it.
