The older I get, the more I realize success is really just getting up every day and doing the right things over and over and over and over and over.
It’s really this simple (not easy, but simple). You work, things move forward. You stop, things stop moving forward.
Our sales guy calls and emails over 150 people every day. He does this every day. And when he tells someone he is going to follow up with them in 30 days, and then in another 30 days, and then in another…you get it…he actually does on the exact day. He earns more meetings because of this then anyone I have ever managed…including myself.
And I have no problem telling you this “secret” because it’s not a secret, and it’s actually the easy part. Most people won’t do what he is willing to do because it’s much harder to make yourself care enough.
You have to convince yourself every day when you get up to care so much about what you are doing in order to have the energy to do the right things over and over and over and over and over.
You probably won’t be able to make yourself care enough.
When I look around my industry, the companies who are winning and growing care about what they do. The companies who have stopped growing are filled with people who have stopped caring.
